Looking for a great Field Trip??? FARM LIFE is holding educational programs for ages 3 and up. Children will tour our 111 year old restored farmstead with a wide array of farm animals. We will discuss a variety of food products that come from the farm and what animals they come from. Older children will get a more in depth discussion of what part of the animal that various types of meat are located, as well as how milk and egg products are produced. Animals include: pigs, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, horse, donkey, pony, mule and more. Children will also take a trip to the children's pumpkin patch, take rides on the barrel train and the electric train, as well as have access to the slide, swings, corn box, and tire mountain. Each Child will pick their own small pumpkin. Field trips can be scheduled Monday-Friday from 9a-3p. Total field trip time is 2-3 hours, with the animal tour averaging 30 minutes depending on age group.
